Our story

Psyclone Tents grew out of our work behind the scenes at festivals and live events across the globe for more than 15 years. Along the way, we learned what a tent really needs to last rough terrain and intense weather.

What started as a few close friends with a shared passion, grew into something bigger – a whole family of outdoor enthusiasts, nature lovers and events industry veterans united by one goal: building the ultimate outdoor tent.

We have personally tried and tested a range of features to help create a bell tent in its highest standards. We’ve camped in them, styled them, stressed-tested them in the rain, the heat and the wind. Every feature – the heavy-duty canvas, YKK zips, reflective ropes, zip-off floors – has been personally tried and refined.

Our team is based in Melbourne (Naarm), and everything we build is designed with Australian conditions in mind – the harsh sun, the unpredictable weather, the long summers that beg for a night under canvas. Psyclone Tents is proudly 100% Australian owned and operated.

Whether you’re setting up at a campsite, styling a backyard glampout, running an Airbnb, hosting a wedding or kid’s birthday, or taking a bell tent to a festival – we’ve built our tents accordingly.
